Coach Diaz grew up in the suburbs of Boston and has been a travel baseball coach over the past 5 years.  Jose was the starting catcher at MCLA and still holds many of the school’s records. He was a 3-time All MA State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) first team selection, 2-time MVP (2000/2001), and a 3-time All New England Eastern Conference Athletic Conference (ECAC) selection, Jose MCLA to ECAC New England Championship in 2001 and was named the tournament MVP. His impressive career stats include a .420 batting average, 44 doubles, 34 home runs, 135 runs scored, and 125 RBI.  

Coach Sylvester enters his first year as a collegiate coach for the Eastern Connecticut State Warriors following his graduation from Wesleyan University in May. Sylvester’s playing career consisted of five years as a utility infielder at Division III Wesleyan University (CT). As a three-year starter at 3B and 1B, he played in 82 career collegiate games, starting in 80 of them. In his graduate year, Sylvester slashed .328/.411/.500 with 44 hits, including 3 HR and 32 RBI in 36 games. He was selected captain in both his senior and graduate years at Wesleyan, winning the MacNaghten award as a graduate student; an award given annually for outstanding baseball achievement.

His five year career consisted of a Little 3 Championship and winning the NESCAC West Division in the regular season of 2023. Off the field, Sylvester earned both NESCAC All-Academic Team and Scholar Athlete Honors twice (2022 & 2023). Sylvester was the Head Coach of the Hanover Senior American Legion Baseball Team in his hometown of Hanover (MA) during the summers of 2022 and 2023. In his first year as head coach in 2022, Sylvester led Hanover to the District 10 Finals; the second time in the town’s history and first since 2008. In the same season, he was nominated to coach the South Region at the MA Legion All-Star Game. In the following season, he brought his team back to the district semi-finals. Sylvester has been a player-coach for the Scituate Shark Dawgs in the Cranberry Baseball League, a team he helped lead to the CBL semi-finals in 2022. His coaching career has included nine years of working summer baseball camps and six years of giving private hitting and pitching lessons at South Shore Baseball Club in Hingham (MA). 

Coach Fernandes was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 1993. He played his college baseball at Brandeis.  Jamie played in 30 games over his pro pitching career including seasons with the Red Sox, Sarasota Red Sox, Butte Copper Kings and Utica Blue Sox.
